Are you considering an alternative career path? Like the idea of getting hands on in the world of tech? Lighthouse Labs is launching our Coding Crash Course this April!

The third workshop in this series is our Intro to SQL + Data Essentials workshop. Through the exploration of a few very practical scenarios, you will understand different ways in which data is used in today’s web applications. As we explore we’ll learn the most basic tools to work with data.

By the end of the session you should be comfortable talking about the lifecycle of data and using basic SQL, a language that was created specifically to manipulate data.

Any laptop computer can be used. You will need a modern Web browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, and a GitHub account.
