Canada’s Centre for Excellence for Wireless Commercialisation and Research, Wavefront has announced it will accelerate the growth and development of wireless companies in Atlantic Canada with the support of the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Programme (NRC-IRAP). Building on four years of productive collaboration, Wavefront has entered into an agreement with IRAP that will benefit wireless entrepreneurs and firms in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. The Wavefront Accelerated Programme is a national programme that enables early stage wireless companies to secure subsidised access to critical business development and technology commercialisation services. These include needs assessments and business planning, as well as advanced usability testing and user experience design.
