SaaS and Cloud computing expert.  With extensive knowledge from working with Fortune 500 companies and Government agencies to build enterprise IT projects for the last 20 years, Nick founded Sascea Inc to bring disruptive technology into the business sector.  Nick is currently working on SaaS business apps and also acting as a SaaS Strategy Advisor for the Government of Ontario.   At SxSW Sascea will be formally launching The Big Picture, a SaaS platform for the unification of enterprise applications.

Wendy is focused on transforming the in-store experience through in-aisle consumer-led mobile payments and contextual item suggestions. DRA’s SelfPay allows shoppers to scan items in-aisle, pay for their purchase on their device, view product information and reviews, share their delight with their social network and leave the store while completely bypassing the checkout line. SelfPay is the result of Wendy’s prior experience in international management consulting understanding consumer behaviour, segmentation and the shopper journey. Much of her previous work at The Mac Group/Gemini Consulting, Chicago Strategy Associates and The Transitions Group was with Fortune 100 companies including IBM, Ameritech, Nokia and Safeway.

 


 

Smart Canadians Drinks Party

Smart Canadians at the SXSW Startup Village features Canadian entrepreneurs, big thinkers and notable doers in the digital interactive industry. Programming includes trend-talks, pitch sessions, a networking lounge, B2B connections, solo presentations and a drinks party. Smart Canadians at the SXSW Startup Village is organized by the Consulate General of Canada Dallas, with programming contributions from The Banff Centre, ITAC Health, Wavefront, KNGFU Numerik, Ormed, NexJ Systems, Amythus Media, CBC Radio, Ralph Dfouni, Jumpwire Media, Po-Mo, Inc. and Fuel Youth Engagement.
