Wavefront enhances national presence by expanding Business Development team in Quebec

MONTRÉAL, CANADA (August 1, 2012) – Wavefront, the National Centre of Excellence accelerating the growth and commercialization of wireless companies in Canada, announces the hire of Martin Dufresne, Business Development Manager, Quebec based in Montreal.

He founded and managed IT firms and developed e-commerce activities and web projects for small, medium, and large national and international corporations. Prior to Wavefront, he spearheaded Alliance Mobilité, the Quebec Mobile Alliance, established initiatives to accelerate the growth of Quebec’s mobile ecosystem, and organized trade missions to develop international market linkages for Quebec-based companies. Dufresne also founded and directed Mobiz, Quebec’s foremost mobile technology conference. Martin holds Certificates of Marketing Management and Advertising from HEC Business School (University of Montreal, QC), and a Diploma in Interactive Media (Producer) from the Institut National de l’Image et du Son (INIS, Montreal QC).
