Panel: Investment Strategies

A moderated session with three thought leading panelists and a Q&A.

Enterprises are realizing that innovation and change won’t sufficiently develop organically from within and survive. To capitalize on new innovations and entrepreneurial energy, enterprises are investing externally by getting involved in incubators, providing investment funding to start-ups, and acquiring companies to enhance their offerings. This panel will look at how enterprises are working directly with these companies and the broader investment community through incubators and limited partnership investments.

Lunch with Keynote: Privacy by Design

Privacy by Design is an approach to systems engineering which takes privacy into account throughout the whole engineering process. The concept is an example of value sensitive design, i.e., to take ethical concerns into account in a well-defined manner throughout the whole process, while ensuring the process is interactive.  Dr. Ann Cavoukian will explain the importance of Privacy by Design in enterprise planning and the 7 Foundational principles that make up this values based approach to technology imperatives, while also proving the prospect is not a zero sum game. We are already seeing this spill over the IoT world of solutions.
