Going global is no small feat. When heading into a new market there are many questions to consider. How can you be sure you’re ready to export? How do you connect with the right partners in the area? What does it take to compete in the market?
Wavefront’s Global Market Entry Program exists to help answer these questions and support the process for those looking to export. Each year Wavefront takes a select group of companies to countries around the world, arranging one-on-one meetings and networking opportunities to provide valuable introductions into the market.
This past June, Wavefront took a group of five companies to Europe to connect them to opportunities in the carrier and network infrastructure industry. Participating companies included Expeto, Lindsay Broadband, Netsweeper, Signal Hill and Tutela who travelled to destinations across Finland, Spain, The Netherlands and Luxembourg.
On the trip, companies met with Tier-1 mobile operators and network equipment vendors like KPN, Nokia, Telefonica and Vodafone. Having these targeted B2B meetings are key to making inroads in a foreign market, providing access to potential customers and partners that would otherwise be hard to come by.
