The Duke of York – known commonly as Great Britain’s Prince Andrew – visited downtown Vancouver on Friday afternoon.
The Duke was at company Wavefront, where he met with Vancouver’s young CEOs and young entrepreneurs, including Igor Faletski from Mobify and 15-year-old entrepreneur Chris Bolton, a mobile developer from B.C. who has developed a food and wine app for the new Blackberry 10. The Duke’s trip centered around his involvement and interest in tech business, primarily the wireless sector.
Prince Andrew is now off to Victoria for May 19 and 20, where he will be the “Chief of the Games” for the 150th Highland Games and Celtic Festival.
*The Duke also visited the University of British Columbia and the school’s Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health, on Friday.
